November 16, 2019Any sort of electronic device is now facing Regulation Conformity Demands. You may have seen marking on your devices at home saying they were compliant. The two most common would be CE and the FCC markings.
CE is the abbreviation of French phrase “Conformité Européene” which means “European Conformity”. CE involves a statement issued by the manufacturer, stating that the product complies with the basic criteria of the European Union. In the electronic world, that means devices have to be tested to the European Union Standards on what is allowed for these devices. In the USA, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) regulates these devices in the same manner.
To get these devices certified to the consumer standards, you’re going to have to have certified Testing Center test them. To get these to pass, you may need to use Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) materials.
We carry and work with a wide range of EMI/RF materials to meet different types of sealing applications. Whether it’s an Aerospace Application to protect the Avionics to Guitar Amps to avoid electronic emissions. State Seal works with the best EMI Material Manufactures to deliver the appropriate cost-effective solution. What kind of EMI material are you looking for? Fluorosilicone? Silicone? Vents?
